Case Study - Take 2

Here is another card for this week's Case Study Challenge. This time I
based my card on the colour scheme of Julia's cards well as the layout, with the addition of
black  for a bit of pop.

The other influence for this card was a conversation I had with my 12 y.o. son the other day.
He asked me what you say to someone when they say they are fat.
I said,"It depends on the person, but maybe say - I think you look good"
and then he said " I could quote  Bruno Mars"
I'm sure you all know the line from his song - " I think you're amazing, just the way you are."
It brought a little tear to my eye - I was so proud!

BTW, I am also proud of myself for being so innovative and a good recycler! The bow on this card had just been cut from a top I am wearing, because the tie was too long and was annoying me. Just as I cut it, I thought " that would make a cute bow on this card!"

The image is from Pink Petticoat and the flower stamps are from Stampin up.
I used Jacquard orange dye ink and Ranger picket fence paint dabber for the colouring in.
The pink colouring on hearts and flower centres are Liquid pearls. The gems are
from kaisercraft.
