For some reason, this has felt like a very long week - it could be the onset of Winter or the daily visit to the doctors with my Dad, who's been having blood tests, Xrays etc to find out what's wrong to be told today, they don't know what's wrong and hopefully he'll be better next week! Poor dad (and Mum who's trying to cope with him)! They're both 87 and live in Independent Living at a fab retirement place, have a very busy life and are very inspiring!
Today I made a card for the current MFW Tuesday Trigger (Feather Weather) and decided I'd need a sketch, so I based it on the Mojo Monday sketch challenge.
Isn't the inspiration for the Tuesday Trigger beautiful! I think it could be my favourite yet! I followed the sketch fairly closely, except the embellishments on the right hand side would have been too much! The stamp is from Craft Individuals, the paper is from MME and the pearls and brad are from Kaisercraft. The ribbon is satin seam binding dyed with distress inks and then frayed to make it shabby. Oh and I almost forgot, I coloured the image with my gorgeous new Faber- Castell watercolour pencils that I won via Sanketi's blog. |
Love your take on the TT - love the birds and your colouring!
