To begin I used a crimper to add texture to the background and then painted it with gesso. When the paint was dry, I stamped the Penny Black irises using gelatos straight on to the stamp and spritzing with water. Next, I coloured the background with gelatos and my fingers to smooth it out. Then i die-cut the butterflies with one of PBs new dies. |
What a wonderful effect, stamping over the crimped background!
