More Brushos

I am still struggling to complete cards at the moment. You know that feeling when you have an idea and you get half way there and just don't know how it should end! On the plus side, I have lots of bits of pieces in my unfinished stash, which hopefully I'll look at one day and have an 'epiphany'!

Speaking of my unfinished stash, this was one of the first things I did with my new Brushos - talk about easy - just sprinkle a bit here and there and then lots of spritzing. The only tricky bit was to avoid the muddy bits and dab a bit with paper towel!

I couldn't decide what to do with this panel, but then I came across it today and thought
it would look great with a white die-cut on top and I was right!
I actually made this for a friend who lost her Mum recently, but I decided not to put a sentiment on the front.

ETA:The big feather die was a freebie from Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine - love it. The other die is from Die-namics.

I am entering this in the Simon Wednesday Challenge - All Things Bright and Beautiful.

  1. LOVE, LOVE the colours Jenny!

  2. Beautiful card! Love the effect of those Brushos. I might be going crazy, but that feather die looks really familiar - is it a freebie from my magazine, Simply Cards & Papercraft or Australian Simply Cards? Had to ask because I'd love to feature it on our Pinterest board if you'd let us. :)

  3. Oh my, love the effect of the bg. What a beautiful, thoughtful card. Kinda says it all without words.

  4. Fabulous, Jenny! Love that Brusho background, makes the feathers really stand out.

  5. Ive been there a lot over the years and I just walk away and go back and it helps :-) But your card is spectacular!!! You are awesome Jenny!

  6. Your watercolor background is so vibrant and gorgeous, Jenny! BEAUTIFUL use of that feather die and wood veneer! Thanks so much for playing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday “All Things Bright and Beautiful” Challenge!

  7. oh my goodness! that water colored BG is amazing
