And Another Twofer!

I do love leaves, so I couldn't resist making another couple of cards for the Twofer Card Challenge.

In the 1st card I stamped the leaf on vellum with Distress Inks and then blended with a wet brush. When it was dry, I  stamped it again and carefully dried it with a heat gun and the fussy cut.
In the 2nd card I repeatedly stamped the leaf with Delicata Gold Ink. Next Istamped and embossed the sentiment and added some splatter.
The stamp set is Concord & 9th 'Lace Leaf'.

I'm entering the following challenges:-

  1. I have this stamp set and haven’t really used it yet, you have now given me some wonderful ideas for it. I particularly like the first one a very clever idea, well done xx

  2. Oh how lovely, Jenny. Those leaves are so delicate and lacy, much like the last vestiges of Fall here. Our leaves can actually get like that here! Love the colors of the first card, and that sweet little butterfly nestled on top. The repeated stamping in that gorgeous gold ink is really pretty, too. Great cards! Thanks for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev

  3. Such glorious effects on both of your cards. Love how you stamped and lightly used water on the vellum...I have never done that before so will be giving that a go. Such a beautiful stamp and such beautiful cards....Both of them x.

  5. Oh what stunning cards Jenny - love the image you used, and how you have used it - I can't "wet" colour on vellum like that as I find it warps. These cards are amazing!

  6. You love leaves, Jenny, and guess what? Leaves love YOU! You make them come alive on your cards! The way you created that vellum leaf makes it look like it is made out of blown glass! Stunning! And, wow, triple stamping the leaf in gold as a simple background for your thank you card is gorgeous, especially with those schplatters in unexpected bright colors! Thank you so much for playing again Twofer Card Challenge #9! Hugs, Darnell
