Watercolour Trees

Hello there!Welcome to the start of another CAS Watercolour Challenge. This month's host is Loll from Stamping with Loll and she has chosen a wonderful theme.

It's Spring over here in Australia, so I thought I'd get in the mood by featuring a Blossom Tree!

I stamped the branch from the Altenew's Vintage Flowers and then using Zig Markers and a waterbrush I made the branch much thicker and added a few extra bits. Then I stamped some leaves and added some freehand, once again using the Zigs and waterbrush. The flowers were stamped with Memento inks and then detail added with Zigs and water.  To finish, I die cut the panel, matting it on a Kraft card base, stamped the sentiment in gold ink and added a few gold sequins.

We are so happy to have Ros from Mikey's Mom as our Guest Designer this month. Please check out the challenge blog to see her card and get inspiration from the rest of the Design Team.

  12. I'm really behind in my commenting - sorry! I love your wonderful pink blossoms - great shading in them and in the leaves and branch. So strange to think of you having pink blossoms while we are having our leaves turn red and gold!
