I used a very old wood-mount stamp to make the zig zag stitched border and then brushed the ink around the edge of the card. The flower and sentiment are from Uniko Studio, called Flower Power #6.
Here is the other card ..
The lace border is from Kaisercraft and was stamped with Memento Ink. I stamped it on the back as well.
The butterfly die is from Alexandra Renke and the sentiment die from SSS.
I'm sharing at the following:-
that's a great take on the Less is More challenge
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful makes, love the colour of the first and the understated elegance of the second

Stunning cards Jenny- the second one is my favourite, but it may be because of my fascination with lace of any sort :)

Too bad you missed the deadline, Jenny. This butterfly with the lace border looks like a winner to me! Love the stitched border and pretty red flower of the first card! It's sure to brighten someone's day and make them feel better!
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely cards.
For a minute I thought you had got your sewing machine out for the first card .. .. those zig-zags look very real, as does that lace border.
Hope you had a lovely weekend.
Love Jules xx

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are gorgeous and the design on the first looks wonderful x.
ReplyDeleteTwo beatufiul cards! I love your CAS design for our solid and outline theme. Thanks for playing along at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteI love those layered up Uniko flowers and the border is really lovely with the zigzag stamping. Such a shame you missed our previous deadline, that lace is so pretty. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
