Alcohol Ink & Whale Done

Hello there.  I have a couple of cards to share today. The first card uses an Alcohol Ink background from my stash and the second card is a CAS card inspired by a sketch.

I love these colours together! I trimmed the panel and then matted with some Pink Fresh dies.
Dies: Pinkfresh Studio Floral Squares, Pinkfresh Studio  Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles; Lawnfawn sentiment

I'm sharing this card at the following challenges:-

I  sponged (blue & green) Distress Inks and blended with a brush and water.
I stamped all the background elements and sentiment with the co-ordinating inks and die- cut the circle. I then embossed the  watercolour paper with the same circle die and adhered the stamped panel.  The whale was stamped with Distress Inks and highlighted with black fineliner.

Stamps: Stampin Up Whale Done
Die: Lil Inkers Stitched Circle

I'm sharing at the following:-

Blue, Green, Water, Ombre

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  9. You make me want to get my alcohol inks out right now and play!! Would never have thought to put those two colours together but they look incredible. Such a wonderful idea to use them as backgrounds in those cute windows. And leaving everything else white makes those colours pop even more. Always so happy to see your gorgeous designs at TIME OUT!
