Time Out Challenges #258 Photo Inspiration

 Happy Leap Year Crafty Friends! We have a fun photo inspiration for you at Time Out Challenges, which is just perfect for today! 

When I saw the inspiration photo, I knew I 'needed' to get a frog stamp set and decided on this fun set from SSS.  I coloured the frog like the one in the challenge photo with Karin Markers. I love the pops of red on this critter!

Altenew inspiration Challenge

 Hi there Crafty Friends! Just popping in to share a card inspired by the gorgeous photo in this month’s Altenew Inspiration Challenge. Kelly Griglione is hosting this month and she used a wonderful picture of some street art. 

I painted a was background to mimic the dark wall and then stamped, embossed and coloured the blooms with Altenew Artist Watercolour Paints.

Time Out Challenge - 10th Birthday Bash!!!

 Hello Crafty Friends! It's an exciting challenge this week! Time Out Challenges are celebrating their 10th Birthday. 

I paired some fun Design Paper from Kaisercraft with stamps and dies from Honeybee Stamps to create my card. 

You can read all about the history of Time Out Challenges at our blog. Before I joined Design Team I used to love playing in the Challenge, because the team have always been so friendly and encouraging. Now I'm part of this team and I can confirm it is the best! 

We have 10 generous sponsors providing 11 fabulous prizes. We will have one challenge winner chosen by the Design Team who will receive a $25.00 Lawn Fawn Store Credit. Ten additional winners will be chosen at random to receive the prizes in the order of their listing.

The Card Concept #204 Winter Warmth

Hello there Crafty Friends! It's time for another challenge at The Card concept. 

I was inspired by the colours to create a CAS card with a little scene using cute dies from Poppy Stamps and Washi tape for the trees.

Remember, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colours, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?

A Few Cards To Share

 Hi there Crafty Friends! I've had a lazy few days on my own at our Beach House and have made a few cards just for fun. 

I had a search through my stash of patterned paper and then chose this fun stamp set from Unity Stamp Company to make a Paper-Pieced Shaker card.  The frame die is from Poppy Stamps.

Does anyone remember this stamp from Stampin Up? I regret now that I got rid of most of my wood-mount stamps, but luckily I kept a few of my favourites. This is definitely one of them.

I used 2 colours of Nuvo Shimmer Powder. The sentiment die is from SSS. Not sure about the embossing folder.

TIME OUT CHALLENGE #256 CASE the Designer Sarah Gray

 Hi there Crafty Friends. It's time for another challenge  at Time Out Challenges. 

We have a special challenge the next fortnight: Instead of our regular 'Inspired by a Photo' we have a 'CASE the Designer' challenge for you this time! We are very very happy to have a card from Sarah Gray of Funky Fossil Designs, for us to CASE. 

I was inspired by the 'opposite corner' layout and the big splashes of colour. 

I decided to use Alcohol Inks for my card and then stamped the image with Staz-on Ink, which doesn't smudge.
