Watercolour Play & Masculine Belated Birthday

 Hi there! Just sharing a few more makes that I haven't got around to posting. 

So this one was just for fun, because I was playing with Daniel Smith Watercolours. 

I then stamped the wildflowers and foliage, but I had to go over it with black marker, because the watercolour paper was so rough. I then added highlights with white gel pen.

I used Distress Ink to stamp the balloon. I blendded the inks with water on the cling stamp and a bit more on the paper.

Hang in There

 I recently purchased a fun cover-plate from Poppy Stamps and couldn't wait to use it.  I sponged a few different shades of blue Distress Oxide Ink around the edge of the die cut panel. I trimmed it down to make the card more CAS. The bunny and umbrella were coloured with Karin & Zig Markers.

CAS Colours & Sketches #426

  It's the fifth Tuesday of March, and that means it's a Double Challenge!  We're throwing back with a trio of retired Stampin' Up colors and one of our past sketch challenges, combining them into one color and sketch challenge.  Shannon is our Host and has given us a wonderful double!

I made a smooshed background and die-cut the largest panel and the butterfly. Next I  sponged the pink on the edges of the smaller panel and stamped the sentiment.  I used Karin Markers to colour the flowers. To finish I added the bow and some bling.

* I'm not very organised, I've  thrown all my flower dies  together,

CAS Mix Up April '21

   Hello there. It's April already and it's time for a new CAS Mix Up Challenge!

This month is a Mixed Media themed challenge. Linda is our host and the prompt is 'Paper Piecing'. There are some links to video tutorials on the CAS MIX UP blog. Please be sure to keep your card designs Clean and Simple and include one other Mixed Media element.

Inused the very popular Concord & 9th Hello Lovely stamp and various patterned papers. 

I stamped the image 3 times and fussy cut each layer. I actually left out the smaller parts of the image, because it would have been impossible to fussy cut and it also made my card more CAS. 

The sentiment stamp is from CASual Friday Stamps. I added some sequins for my extra element. 

Tip: Cut right on the line and use a black marker to colour the edges

My card is Anything Goes, because I don't have any PB Halloween stamps.

I made the watercolour background by smooshing distress ink on a craft sheet.

Rainbow Birthday

This card was inspired by the gorgeous rainbow cake in Time Out Challenge graphic...

I used zig markers and an aquabrush to paint the rainbow and then added lots of shimmer with a Nuvo Shimmer Gloss marker. The bunny was coloured with Copic Markers.
