Watercolour Play & Masculine Belated Birthday

Hi there! Just sharing a few more makes that I haven't got around to posting.

So this one was just for fun, because I was playing with Daniel Smith Watercolours.
I then stamped the wildflowers and foliage, but I had to go over it with black marker, because the watercolour paper was so rough. I then added highlights with white gel pen.
Stamps: Stampers Annonymous

I used Distress Ink to stamp the balloon. I blendded the inks with water on the cling stamp and a bit more on the paper.
Stamps: Hampton Art Hot Air Balloon; CASual Friday Some Bunny
Die: Penny Black

I'm sharing this card at the following challenges:-

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  1. Your first card is something really special. I love the soft watercolour background and the stamped flower images, what a perfect size they are. I think the texture of watercolour paper enhances the overall effect and the white highlights are a perfect finishing touch xx

  2. Love both of these pretty cards. That hot air balloon looks like a wonderful way to see an overVIEW of the scenery. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology.

  3. Loving your top card Jenny - and yes, stamping on textured watercolour paper can be a bit hit and miss at times, and the black pens can be a very much needed tool!
Your balloon card is wonderful with the gentle pun in the greeting
    Stay safe
    Blessings
