Monogram Card

I have been resting my arm/shoulder for the last few days, but today I wanted to challenge myself to make a one layer Monogram card for the Less is More Challenge today.

I pulled out some  old stamp sets to create this card. I stamped with Delicata Gold and coloured with Karin Markers. I added Liquid Pearls to the centre of the flowers.
Stamps: Neat & Tangled Hand Stitched; Concord & 9th Sophisticated Script

CAS Poinsettia

I'm still in Christmas in July mode and this is another one layer card...

The poinsettia stamp is a magazine freebie and the sentiment is from Kaisercraft.
I stamped the flowers several times with Delicata Gold Glitz ink to get lots of shimmer and some tiny berries dots with Liquid Pearls.

Christmas Candles and Santa

I'm doing well with my Christmas Card production this year!

I made this card for the Design Team Call at Happy Little Stampers.

I stamped the candles with Zig Markers and blended with the Zig Blender and Nuvo Shimmer Gloss pen.
I added a bit of detail by embossing the border.
Stamps: Stamplorations 'Christmas Candles'; Kaisercraft (sentiment)

This one is a bit of  CAS and artsy fun...
I can't remember the name of this Santa stamp. The stamp was coloured with Distress markers, spritzed and stamped.  I love this vintage image.
The sentiment is from Kaisercraft.

Guest Designing for Less is More Challenge

I am so excited and very honoured to be  Guest Designing for Less is More Challenge!
It's a ONE LAYER CARD challenge and the theme is 'Christmas in July'.

I stamped the beautiful images from Penny Black 'Nature's Best' around the top and sides of car with Zig Markers and Distress Inks, blending a bit on the card. Next I added some white highlights and splatter for snow with White Gouache paint. I used red glitter markers on the berries, which sadly doesn't show up so well in the pic.  The sentiment is from Kaisercraft.

You can see lots more wonderful creations from the DT at the Less is More Challenge blog and hopefully you'll be inspired to join in the challenge.

Blue & Silver Christmas

I've been getting in to the spirit of Christmas in July, inspired by the cold weather here in Australia.

This is one of the first stamps I ever owned. It's a wood-mount, from an Australian company no longer in existence.  I've only ever used it on white before and I really like the simplicity of this colour combo.
I stamped and embossed with silver powder and randomly coloured in some of the stars with silver marker. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft.

I'm sharing at the following:-

Theme: Anything but White

Sparkle!

I have a couple of cards to share, inspired by the theme at Perfectly CAS Challenge.

The sentiment is from Penny Black and the confetti stamp is an oldie from Winnie & Walter.
I used Zigs to stamp the sentiment and Delicata Gold for the confetti.

I added sparkly gems to match the sentiment and some sequins to complete the bling.

The second card was originally going to be for this challenge, but then I decided the frame die was too busy to make it a Perfectly CAS candidate!

The stamps are from  Ellen Hutson 'Hello Gorgeous' and I used the Delicata Ink again and added some Wink of Stella to the diamonds.
NB: Every time I use this sentiment I have the song from my fave Christmas movie playing in my head - 'Nativity'.

Two CAS Cards

Today I have a couple of CAS cards to share.

This was a very quick and easy card. I stamped the dog, the speech bubble and sentiment and coloured the image with Zig Markers.
I used a stamp I bought in Scotland 2 years ago, from Paperartsy (Zinis). This dog makes me smile:)

I'm sharing at the following:-

The next card was inspired by the theme at 'Less isMore' Challenge.

I initially tried this on white card stock, but decided the black on Kraft suited better. The clock stamp is from Kaisercraft, the black border from Mama Elephant and the sentiment from Altenew.
I think  this would be suitable for a retirement card.

I'm sharing at the following:-

Theme: It's a Man Thing

Dotty Dress

I have another One Layer 'Dotty' themed card inspired by 'Less is More'.

I used an old Stamping Bella stamp, designed by Jane Devonport.

I coloured the image with Zig Markers and added the dots with a white gel pen.

I'm sharing this card at the following:-

Autumn Leaves Penny Black

Hi there. Another week in 'iso' comes to an end! Actually, like most places, Australia is slowly getting things moving and many are coming out of hibernation. I am still planning to avoid shops and gatherings until we see if the lessening of restrictions is successful.

Here is a card I made with a stamp set I admired for quite a while, before deciding I needed to own it:)

I used Zig Markers and Gold Twinkling H2Os to stamp these gorgeous leaves.

I thought the sentiment was an ok match for the leaves because they do look so pretty with age!

Stamps:- Penny Black ' Nature's Gift and 'Birthday Love'.

I'm sharing my card at the following challenges:-
