The Card Concept #210 Pumpkin Season (Oct '24)

Hello there Crafty Friends! It's time for another challenge at The Card concept The theme this month is Pumpkin Season.

I've used old stamp sets from Winnie & Walter to create my card.
As you can see, I was inspired by the door, steps and pumpkins in the photo and the colours to make my Clean & Layered card
Stamps: W&W This Awesome House, Moonlight
Hello Bluebird Country Gingham Background

Remember, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colours, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?

I hope you'll visit The Card Concept Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the team has created and will be inspired to play along in the challenge with us.

Choose a design style (or combine styles), create a card, and in your blog post, let us know what inspired you from the photo, what style and/or styles you chose and don't forget to display our inspiration photo and link back to our challenge.

I am also sharing my card at the following challenges:-

CAS Masculine Card

Just popping in to share a card I made for the Less is More Challenge.

I think this might be one of the easiest cards I've ever made! The Turtle stamp is from Dina Wakely and the sentiment is an oldie from Winnie & Walter.

52 Christmas Card Throwdown (August Sketch)

Hi Crafty Friends.  I am your hostess for August at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge.

The first challenge of the month is always a sketch challenge.  Here is my sketch for this month. I hope you like it and have fun with your creations.

When I designed this sketch I new I would use snowflakes, but had a different picture in my mind. I recently purchased this cover plate and that became the starting point. I smooshed the die-cut panel in various colours of Distress Oxide Inks.
I die-cut 4 layers of the sentiment to make it extra chunky.
Dies: Memory Box Pinpoint Snowflake Die; W& W Merry;

I hope you'll visit the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown blog to see what our fabulous  Design Team created with these colours and then be inspired to join in the challenge!

To begin, I embossed the white with the zigzag die and then adhered the die-cut strips over this.
The sentiment was stamped on co-ordinating paper and framed with white.
Stamps: Winnie & Walter
Dies: MFT
I really enjoyed making this card:)

I hope you'll pop on over to our blog to see the wonderful creations from our Design Team and be inspired to join us in the challenge.

Smooshed Birthday Card

I had a bit of fun making a smooshed background with Distress Inks and Cosmic Shimmer Powder to die-cut a sentiment for this card...

The sentiment die and sentiment stamp are from Winnie & Walter (who are sadly no longer around) and the ballon die is from Penny Black.

My card was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch.
