Wine Bottle Birthday

Hi there. I'm trying to add to my collection of Masculine cards and made this today...

I die cut the wine bottle and coloured with Distress Inks and then added lots of shimmery gloss with the Nuvo Shimmer Gloss Pen.  Next I stamped the label,  sentiment and border.  I used the kraft card to keep the whole look more masculine.

U + Me = Chemistry

I experimented (no pun intended)  all day until I settled on this design for a card requested by my daughter.

The beakers were stamped with the outline stamp  and then the liquid was stamped with Zig Markers.

I used both colours to stamp the love hearts.

Altenew Inspiration Challenge June - Take 2 & 3

I played with some of my newer Altenew Stamps today and made a couple of cards inspired by this month's Inspiration Challenge.

I was aiming for a Masculine card with the leaf card.

I stamped the gorgeous big bloom and then masked it to stamp the gold leaves. The flower was coloured with Zig Markers and some shimmer added with Wink of Stella.

I stamped the leaves with Memento ink, Distress Oxide and added highlights with Zig Markers. 

I used 2 different Kraft cards for the matte and base card.

Rainbow Cake and NBUS

I've been a bit obsessed with rainbows lately and made another 2 cards with a neglected stamp set:)

I had lots of fun making this rainbow background using Zig markers,  Nuvo  Shimmer Powder and Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder. Can you see the shimmer? 

I used Zigs and Wink of Stella for this card.

Vellum Birthday Card

Hi there. I've been having lot's of fun playing with vellum paper this month. This one is for AAA Birthday Challenge...

I stamped and heat embossed some of the foliage and the vase on vellum and then fussy cut the images.  I also stamped the foliage , sentiment and border on to the base card.  

Next I stamped the flowers and fussy cut. 

I cut a notch in the top of the vase to insert the flowers and then arranged it all on the base card. I used glue behind the embossed bits. 

The flowers and vase were coloured with Zig Marvkrs and Wink of Stella.

Rainbow Birthday

This card was inspired by the gorgeous rainbow cake in Time Out Challenge graphic...

I used zig markers and an aquabrush to paint the rainbow and then added lots of shimmer with a Nuvo Shimmer Gloss marker. The bunny was coloured with Copic Markers.

Sparkle!

I have a couple of cards to share, inspired by the theme at Perfectly CAS Challenge.

The sentiment is from Penny Black and the confetti stamp is an oldie from Winnie & Walter.

I used Zigs to stamp the sentiment and Delicata Gold for the confetti. 

I added sparkly gems to match the sentiment and some sequins to complete the bling. 

The second card was originally going to be for this challenge, but then I decided the frame die was too busy to make it a Perfectly CAS candidate! 

The stamps are from  Ellen Hutson 'Hello Gorgeous' and I used the Delicata Ink again and added some Wink of Stella to the diamonds. 

NB: Every time I use this sentiment I have the song from my fave Christmas movie playing in my head - 'Nativity'.

Cornflower Thanks and Snowdrops

I'm still playing catch up with posting all the cards I made when I stayed at our beach house.  Here are some I made when I was trying out some new floral dies...

I think these dies are a mixture of Alexandra Renke and Tim Holtz dies. I've been a bit disorganised and thrown my floral dies in a box together.  I coloured the die-cuts with Daniel Smith Watercolors.  The frame die is from Penny Black. 

The Snowdrop die is from Alexandra Renke.  I think these flowers are so sweet. 

I coloured the die-cuts with Zig Markers and Wink of Stella. I painted the background with Distress Inks. 

The sentiment and frame are from Penny Black.

Navy and (Pink-ish) Purple Colour Combo

I am so happy that The Flower Challenge had 'Navy & One Other Colour' as their theme this month! It's enabled me to stamp with blue, instead of black, to my heart's content:)

I've entered a few in to the challenge, but have more in my unfinished stash for future projects. This is one of my very favourite Penny Black Stamps and I love it in blue!

I know this looks like pink, but the Zig Marker is labelled 'purple! I have used Zig Markers to stamp and colour the images.
