Christmas Card Throwdown (August Colour)

Hi Crafty Friends.  I am your hostess for August at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge.

It's time for the Colour Challenge. I hope you like the colours I have chosen. It's a non-Traditional colour combo, but I think it's pretty. So I hope have fun with your creations.

I made the background by smooshing and splattering the panel in Distress Oxide Inks.

I then die-cut the tree frame twice and layered the gold tree over the white.

Die: Memory Box Delicate Pine Frame; Penny Black Rectangle

Stamp: SSS Chunky Christmas

I hope you'll visit the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown blog to see what the rest of the team created with these colours and then be inspired to join in the challenge!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  3. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such kind and friendly comments Jenny and yes I did get the 3D subtle embossing folder (eventually) from eBay and paid far too much for it (ended up bidding against a few others) and it came from America too....You know what's it's like when us crafters just have to have something! I was so pleased when I won it and then sat down and realised how much I had paid for it!!! I am blaming you Jenny....lol x. Hope you are crafting lots in the beach house and thanks for your blog friendship x.
