I was feeling a bit uninspired this morning, so I searched through some challenges to find something to jumpstart my creativity. The theme at Less is More Challenge sparked my interest and I made a couple of cards.
I made a rough circle mask for both cards, by tearing a hole in a piece of paper.
I lightly sponged Distress Oxide Inks (Salved Patina, Peacock Feathers & Blueprint Sketch).
Next I used a stencil to add spots. Then I stamped some underwater elements (with the mask still in place).
Stamps: Kaisercraft Mermaid Tails; Stampin Up Whale Done
Stencil : unknown
I followed the same method for this card, but kept it more CAS and just used Salvaged Patina and stamping one image.
Stamp: Kaisercraft bird; Simon Says Stamp Sympathy Greetings
I'm sharing my cards at the following challenges:-

ReplyDeleteTwo lovely cards, Jenny. I love how you used the same layout and a similar technique yet ended up with such different cards. Fabulous CAS creations. So glad you joined us at ATCAS this week

Lovely cards. So clever of you to use a torn, circle mask. It creates a great "organic" edge. What a lovely scene you've created with the turtle. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS.
