It's a Pink Day!

Hello there Crafty Friends!

The theme at  Pinkfresh Studio this month is all about 'SHIMMER & SHINE' , so I used Delicata Golden Glitz Ink. The images were coloured with Altenew Ink using the co-ordinating stencil.

Another Altenew Challenge Inspired Card

Hi there friends! I hope you're all managing to stay cool or warm, depending on where you live. It seems that temperatures are extreme all around the world!

I've just started a very necessary diet program called The Fast 800, which means I can only eat during 8 hours of the day and am restricted to 800 calories. The recipes are fabulous and filling, so I'm doing ok so far. I miss my wine and the Cafe Latte is a luxury. I'm also making a concerted effort to spend less time sitting on my backside and to keep moving, so I guess that means less time card-making and on my computer. I do have lots of cards already made, which haven't been shared, so I'll probably post quite a few now.

I received this sweet stamp as a free gift with my last order from Altenew and thought it looked a bit like folkart, so would be perfect for this month's challenge.

CAS MIX UP (July '22 REMINDER)

It's time to remind you about this month's CAS Mix Up Challenge.   Linda is our host and it's a Watercolour Challenge, with the prompt  'Things with Wings'. That should give you plenty of scope.  Please be sure to make water-colouring the main element of your card and keep your designs Clean and Simple.

I stamped the bird twice, once on the main panel and on a piece of scrap, which was coloured with Altenew Metallic Watercolours and then the body fussy-cut. I sketched and water-coloured the branch.
My instict is always to add splatter, but I wanted to keep this one really CAS and simple.
Stamp: Kaisercraft Fly Free; SSS Sketched Flowers
Die: Spellbinders

Lots of Crafting

Hi Friends! I've been recuperating from a nasty respiratory virus, which exacerbated my Asthma and I'm finally feeling much better.  I retreated to our Beach House and I've had absolutely no responsibilities for the last few days so I've been crafting to my hearts content, in between walks, reading and binging on Netflix.

Here are a few cards I enjoyed making...

First of all I would like to remind you about our current challenge at CAS Mix Up, where the theme is 'Things with Wings' using watercolour.

Stamp & Die : Pinkfresh Studio Songbirds on Branch

*****************************************

I used some leftovers from the previous card to make this CAS card for a couple of challenges.
Stamp: Pinkfresh Studio Songbirds on Branch; Darkroom Door Butterfly
Die: Pinkfresh Studio Songbirds on Branch
Embossing Folder: Stampin Up

******************************************

This card was inspired by the metallic theme at SIEZE THE BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE:-

This is the same embossing folder and the gorgeous flower die is SSS Etched Layered Daisy.
I swiped Delicata Gold Ink over the white card stock and embossed panel, colouring the flower to match - it's very shimmery!

The next card was inspired by the CAS theme at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE...

The gorgeous flowers were stamped and coloured with Karin Markers.
Stamp: Altenew Pen Sketched Flowers
Dies: Spellbinders

I made a smooshed background with Distress Oxide Ink and when dry stamped some snowflakes. The Christmas tree was stamped and white embossed and then the panel die-cut.  To finish I added the die-cut deer, sentiments and added a sprinkle of red bling, matting with black and white card.
Stamps: Penny Black

More Metallics

Hi there. I've not been crafting for a couple of weeks due to having a nasty bug, so today as I'm feeling a bit better, I was inspired to make a card for the Altenew Inspiration Challenge. Aga is hosting and she's given us a gorgeous graphic! Her card is amazing too.

I took my inspiration from the painted panels and the colours.
I stamped the flowers with gold ink and gold embossed. I then outlined them with white gel pen to make them pop. I coloured the images with a mix of Altenew Metallic paints, Prismacolor Pencils and glitter Pens.
Stamps: Altenew Persian Motifs

I'm sharing my card at the following challenges:-
