Too Much of a Good Thing

Hi there. It's the 1st Saturday of July! Yes, July! That mean's a brand new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

The theme this month is ANYTHING GOES or Optional FOOD/DRINK

When I saw the optional twist, I thought I didn't have any PB stamps to suit, but then I remembered this stamp ...

I love these brushstroke stamps, but I'll admit I had a bit of trouble with the leaves. I need to practise adding vein details freehand:)

I used Zig Markers, Distress Inks, Altenew Inks and also Memento Inks. I added a bit of detail with a Copic Sepia pen.  The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and brushed with Gold Pearl-Ex.

STAMPS:  Penny Black 'Perfect Pear'; Penny Black 'Allegro'

You can get more inspiration from the talented PBSC Design Team at our blog and we'd love to have you join in the fun. As always, we have a prize from our wonderful sponsor 1-2-3 Stitch! and if you'd like to be considered for a Guest Designer spot in a future challenge, add 'GDT' after your name.
