More Foiling

It's mid-month reminder time for the CAS Mix Up Card Challenge. You still have plenty of time to join in. The challenge is open until 24 October.

Bonnie is hosting this month and wants to see foiling on your cards.

I hope the photo captures the effect of the holographic foil on my card - it is so cool.

I sponged some distress ink on white card and then applied Heidi Swap Re-active paint through a stencil. When dry, I placed the foil over the panel and ran it through the Minc Machine.
I then die-cut the butterfly from black card and foiled cardstock, mounting it on the foiled panel. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and mounted the panel on a black card base.

Stamp:- Hero Arts Monthly Hero Kit Feb 2018
Die: Stamplorations Flutter Zen 1
Stencil: Memory Box Distressed Grid

I have included Foiling, sponged card base, die-cutting and Stamping on my card.

We are thrilled to be joined by Michelle Ferguson this month. You can see Michelle's card and more inspiration from our talented Design Team over at the CAS Mix Up blog, and can enter the challenge here.

  8. What a great and fresh idea to foil over the sponged background, Jenny! The contrast between the shine and hardness of your holographic foil and the softness of the sponged area is so interesting! And the gorgeous silver butterfly with the black shadow takes center stage.
