Layered Stencils

Hi there. I've had a hugely productive day, mostly making future DT cards, but here is a card for the  CAS Stencil Challenge.

I began with a piece of light blue card and sprayed a blue  spray over a Tim Holtz woodgrain stencil. When dry, I placed the Butterfly mask (Stamplorations) over the card and spritzed with with another shade of Color Shine.  To add definition I outlined the butterflies with light grey Fineliner and sponged the edge of the card with Distress Inks. To finish I stamped the sentiment (MFT)  and added some sequins.

I was very conscious of keeping this CAS, but because I took the photo close up, it doesn't look as CAS as I'd hoped.

I'm also sharing my card at the following challenges:-

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)
