Hi there! I'm back with another card for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week Lucinda, our host, has given us a fun theme ... 'Tags on Cards'!

I made a few watercolour backgrounds, with Zig Markers and Distress Inks in each of the colours and then die-cut the flowers, foliage and rectangle.  The twine was died with the blue ink.  To finish I added a touch of bling:)
I  have left the card without a sentiment, because I like to add the appropriate sentiment when I use the card.

New Floral Stamps and Twofer Balloons

Hi there! I'm taking a break from Design Team work, to create for some of my favourite challenges.

I used a new stamp set I recently won from The Flower Challenge.
I stamped the flowers and leaves with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copic Markers. Then I stamped some more leaves in the background with Altenew inks. To finish, I sponged the edges with Altenew ink and DO ink, stamped the sentiment and added some splatter. I backed it with a textured grey card.
Stamps: Altenew Perfectly Perfect, Leaf Cluster.

I'm sharing at the following challenges:-

My next cards were inspired by this month's Twofer Card Challenge...

I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use this neglected set I had to have last year.
The first card was stamped with Delicata Gold Ink and involved some masking. It is for a Golden Wedding Anniversay.  For the second card I stamped and white embossed on some sponged card and fussy cut. Then I backed with patterned pappy.
Stamps: The Ton Confetti Balloons; W&W Big & Bold Happy, Newtons
Nook sentiment
Dies: MFT Stitched Alphabet.

I'm sharing at the following:-

CAS Mix Up Feb Reminder

Yes it's already mid-February, so I have a card to remind you about this month's CAS Mix Up challenge. It's a Stencil Challenge this month and Nancy , our host, wants us to HEAT EMBOSS our stencilled creations.

I used Embossing Paste with the stencil and then sprinkled with silver embossing powder. I let it dry before I heat embossed. I then decided to spray the background with cherry red  shimmer mist, because I thought it went well with the Oriental pattern.  The Dragonfly die-cut was covered with Versamark and silver embossed. To finish I stamped and embossed the sentiment.

Stencil: Kaisercraft
Stamp: Altenew
Die: Alexandra Renke

You can find more inspiration over on the CAS Mix Up Blog and we hope you'll be inspired to join the challenge.

Hello there!  It's the first Saturday of the month, so it's time for a new challenge  at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

The theme is 'ANYTHING GOES' or  if you want more of a challenge ... 'PAPER PIECING'.

I decided to use some of my pretty Kaisercraft paper. It's not really 'Paper Piecing', because I only used one paper for the butterfly, but I decided it looked better this way.

HLS Christmas Challenge (Feb21)

Hi there! It's time to begin another Happy Little Stampers Christmas Card Challenge.

I pulled out an old stamp set to make this card and included berries in 3 different colours.
I used various inks and Zig Markers to stamp the foliage and sentiment. I then die-cut the leaves and berries and fussy cut the banner sentiment.
The background paper has an organic speckled look. I think it's called Enviroment (Birch).
