More Fall Cards

I have a folder on my Desktop that's full of cards I've made, but haven't yet posted, so today I decided to share a few.

I used Karin Markers direct to stamp, blended with wet brush, to stamp these trees. Added a bit of definition, a wash under the trees and of course a touch of splatter:)
Stamps: Stamplorations Vignette: Tree Silhouette

I used Karin Markers again to stamp these leaves. I couldn't resist adding some splatter!
Stamps: Gina K Autum Silhouettes

The grid pattern was stamped with Delicata Gold ink and I used Karin Markers for the leaves, sentiment and splatter.
Stamps: Kaisercraft Fallen Leaves; SSS Floral Garden

The leaves were again stamped and coloured with Karin Markers and the sentiment with Delicata Gold.
I inked the edges with the gold ink as well.

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE OCT '21

Well hello there! It's the first Saturday of the month, so we have a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

This month our theme is 'ANYTHING GOES' or the twist 'Colour Inspiration'.

I did second generation stamping of the Lovely Lilacs stamp for a background, so the butterflies would be the focal point. The butterflies were coloured with Zig Markers and fussy-cut. I die-cut the stamped panel and inked with DO Tumbled Glass.
Stamps: Penny Black Lovely Lilacs, Butterfly Garden, Golden Dance
Die: PB Stitched Nested Frames

COLOUR INSPIRATION

Autumn Leaves with Brushos

Hello there Crafty Friends! I felt like playing with Brushos today and I'm sharing one of the cards I completed.

I die-cut the leaves from a smooshed background made with Brushos. I stamped some script behind the leaves in gold and inked the edges of the die-cut panel.

Saturday, 19 June 2021

It's the 3rd Saturday of the month, so we have more inspiration for you at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme is 'ANYTHING GOES' or the optional twist is 'Fussy & Fancy' Cards.

I just received some new Penny Black Stamps, so I was excited to use them. This card is still fairly CAS, but I made it a bit more 'fussy' by adding the embossed background.

I stamped the image with black ink, clear embossed, coloured with Zigs and Karin Markers.  Next I fussy cut, deconstructed the yellow flowers  and re-arranged to fit my card.
Stamps: Penny Black Sweet Centrepiece
Embossing Folder: Altenew

Amazing Things

Just a quick post, because I'm having problems with an injured shoulder and arm, so I have to restrict time on my computer.

I made this smooshed and splattered background a while ago and die-cut the panels to fit the sketch.
As you all know, photographing metalics is not easy, but I hope you can see how pretty the gold is.
Stamps: Stampin Up Butterfly Bouquet, Hydrangae Haven
EF: SU Subtle Texture
Die: Rubbernecker

52 Christmas Card Throwdown (Feb Colour)

Hi there! I'm back with another card for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week Lucinda, our host, has given us some gorgeous colours to create with!

I stamped some trees and snowflakes in the background, sponged the sky and blended with a wet brush to make it soft.  Next I stamped the sentiment.  I then die-cut the frame and deer, colouring the lamp post and mounted it with dimensional foam.
Stamps: Penny Black Season's Marvel, Kaisercraft snowflakes and sentiment.
Dies: Memory Box Frame, Impression Obsession Deer

I hope you'll visit the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown blog to see what the rest of the team created with these colours and then be inspired to join in the challenge!
