Penny Black Saturday Challenge January '24 Reminder

It's the 3rd Saturday of the month, so we have more inspiration for you at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  The challenge this month is...

'Anything Goes'
or
'SOMETHING NEW'

I haven't used a new stamp this time, although it's only the 2nd time I've used it.

This is a big stamp, so I had to crop the image to fit a standard card. I used Prismacolor Pencils.

You can see more inspiration from  our talented  GDT  and the rest of the team at
our blog. I hope you have the opportunity to join in our challenge.

The prize for this challenge is provided by our generous sponsor:

Prize - $20 voucher!

If you'd like to be considered for a guest designer spot for a future challenge, please add 'GDT' after your name on the link-up...and remember to check back to see if you've been chosen!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

52 CHRISTMAS CARD THROWDOWN (Oct '22 THEME)

Hi Crafty Friends.  The third week of the month is always a theme challenge at 52CCT and Majda , our host, has chosen 'CHRISTMAS CRITTERS' as the theme.

I can't believe this is the first time I've used this adorable stamp! I will have to make a few more cards, before I put it away.
I coloured the image with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy-cut. I used an old Embossing Folder to give the look of a wood panelled wall.
Stamp: Colorado Craft (Anita Jeram) On the lookout dog by the window clear stamp set

I hope you'll visit the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown blog to see what the rest of the team created with these colours and then be inspired to join in the challenge!

Happy Birthday Loll

Just popping in to share a card in honour of  Loll, our wonderful leader at CAS Challenges! It's Loll's Birthday and we want her to know how special she is!

I wanted to practise with Prismacolor Pencils so I stamped on kraft and had some fun!
I'm not sure what brand this stamp is.
The frame dies are from MFT.

So Loll I hope you have a wonderful day with family and/or friends and get thoroughly spoilt.

I'm sharing my card at the following challenges:-

52 CHRISTMAS CARD THROWDOWN COLOUR challenge may '22

Hi Crafty Friends.  Tracy is our host for May at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge.

The second challenge of the month is always a  colour challenge.  Tracy has chosen the following colours for us this month ...

I recently had a weekend of crafting with my friend Jenny Dix, who is on the Stamping Bella DT, so I got to play with all the SB stamps. I thought this one was perfect for this week's colour combo.
The image was coloured with Prismacolor Pencils.
Stamp: Stamping Bella Teeney Tiny Townie wit a Fruitcake

I hope you'll visit the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown blog to see what our fabulous  Design Team and our talented Guest Designer, Chrissie, have created with this sketch. Looking forward to seeing your cards in the gallery:)

CAS COLOURS & SKETCHES #440

Hi there Crafty Friends. It's time for a new challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches and Vicky is hosting this month. She's created a colour combo that I think is gorgeous - I hope you agree and will play along with us.

The colours made me think of Christmas and I'd just acquired a new Penny Black stamp set I thought would be perfect for this challenge...

I'm no expert at colouring, but I love trying out different mediums. I very rarely use colour pencils, but recently decided to make them more accessible, by taking them out of the tin and putting them on top of my trolley in a glass vase.  So now I use them more often and that's what I used on this card.
I stamped the deer on scrap paper, coloured with Prismacolor pencils, blending with Gamsol, then fussy-cut, leaving off the antlers. Then I stamped again and adhered with dimensional tape. I went over parts of the deer with Nuvo Glitter Gloss pen for some shimmer and added some rhinestones.

Stamps: Penny Black My Deer.

I'm also sharing my card at the following challenges:-
