The gorgeous die from Penny Black is called 'Out to Sea'. I sponged a background, lining it up with the die and die cut the panel. Then I made another die cut wit white card. The sentiment is from Altenew 'Thinking of You' stamp set.
For this card I die-cut 3 layers for dimension. I stamped Hero Arts 'Waves Background' on the base card using DI Broken China and embossed with Silver Pearl and then sponged various blues as well as smooshing on craft mat. I used Daniel Smith Watercolours for the boat. The window die is MFT 'Peekaboo Circle'. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

Two gorgeous nautical designs, Jenny! Let me just say first that your blending abilities are stellar! The sea and sunset sky behind that awesome die from PB looks like a photograph! And it was very clever to cut the boat out for your second design! I love the sponged and embossed circle frame to showcase the sailboat with its super cool red sails and the seagulls flying around! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #19! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteSuch amazing cards, both of them. The die cut on the first looks fabulous and the blending looks great. Fun idea to just use the sailboat on the second and love the silver pearl embossed background too on the aperture x.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautifully inked designs Jenny. The white die cut contrasts nicely with you stunning background. Coloring the die cut for your second card shows how versatile the die is. Thank you for joining in at Twofer Card Challenge #19.
