CAS Watercolour Spring Flowers

Hello everyone. It's time for another challenge at CAS Watercolour and Susan, this month's host is looking for SPRING flowers - not just any flowers.  So please think snowdrops, daffodils, tulips, crocuses, apple and cherry blossom, dogwood, etc.

I have used a stamp from Altenew 'Pen Sketched Flowers' and coloured the image with Zig Markers.

Here is a second card I made...

The stamp is from Simon Says Stamp called 'Fresh-cut Flowers Background'. I stamped it on beautiful Arches Hot Press Watercolour paper, which is so beautiful to work with.
I used a combo of Daniel Smith Watercolour paints and Zig Markers.
The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.

This month our Guest Designer is Vicky Hayes from Crafting Clare's Paper Moments.
I hope you visit our blog to see what Vicky and the rest of the team have created and you can join in the challenge.

I'm sharing my first card at the following:-

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  5. Hi Jenny - I'm confused! The card you posted on the CAS Watercolour challenge doesn't match the card on this blog post!

Either way, I love both cards - wonderful watercolouring!

  6. Two amazing cards Jenny! Your watercolouring skills are masterful! The blue shadow behind your lilac-colours blooms makes them look like they are popping off the page. And your pink blooms are gorgeous with the black accents and splatters. Great work! xx

  14. Oh, I fell in love with both cards, Jenny! The flowers are so beautiful themselves, but your coloring is exquisite. The shades of purple and dark pink, the very light wash in the background, and the spatters are just amazing. Thank you for your inspiration!
