I painted a light wash, masked off the centre and stamped the background stamp. The star was die-cut 4 times, glue together and coloured with gold ink. To finish, I added sentiment with the same ink.
Stamp: Stampendous 'Christmas Background'; Penny Black 'Wish for Peace'
Die: Kaisercraft
I stamped the nativity stamp with black and gold ink and clear embossed. The background was coloured with Nuvo Shimmer Powder and water.
Stamp: Stampendous 'Nativity'; Kaisercraft (sentiment)
This card ended up not being CAS enough for the CAS Christmas Challenge, because I got a bit carried away with the background:)
Anything Goes
My next card was a quickie inspired by a sketch...
I stamped the gnome and coloured with Zig Markers. I used up a bit of my stash of patterned to make a CAS card. I thought this would be a good masculine card.
Stamp: Apple Blossom 'Christmas Gnome'; Kaisercraft (sentiment)
This is the sketch, but I missed the deadline (again!).
I'm sharing my card at the following:-
