Sweet Cakes

I'm making a concerted effort to use stamp sets in my stash, that haven't been inked before. I'm also trying to make more than one card.  Here is the first card using Simon Says Stamp Sweet Cakes...
I used Altenew Inks and Zig Markers and then added lots of shimmer with the Nuvo Shimmer Gloss Pen.
I used some pretty patterned paper from Kaisercraft to decorate the cake and add a border.

I'm sharing this card at the following:-

Here is my second card...

This is such a fun set! I must remember to use it again soon:)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  4. Jenny your cake looks delicious and you did so well capturing the sparkle on your cake, which is something I struggle with. Love the CAS design and that paper strip at the bottom looks so much like ruffled ribbon. Its a brilliant card and always so lovely to see you at TIME OUT!
