More Stencil Outlining

I made this card when I was experimenting with the theme for this month's CAS Mix Up Challenge, which is to trace or outline stencilled images.  I didn't use it for the challenge, because it isn't really CAS.

The stencil is very basic, from a discount shop  and so  I hadn't used it before, but when I outlined the the stencilled images with a Copic Sepia fine marker it really made a difference! I actually did this freehand, without the stencil.  I used Worn Lipstick Distress Ink with a blending brush and  a yellow glitter pen for the stamen.  The sentiment is from Penny  Black.

I'm sharing at the following:-

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

    1. Thanks Robyn. I love cold nights, but during the day I freeze. I'm sitting in my craft room with 4 layers on & still shivering. It's the opposite at our beach house, but I can't be there for another few weeks at least:(

  10. What a pretty card, Jenny! I love the whole idea of outlining stencils now that I've seen it and used it myself. Sometimes it's hard to get even a fine tip around the stencil, and you did a steady job of outlining it freehand. I love the soft blending, followed by distinct blending all around the edges, which adds so much! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
