Stencil Tracing (CAS Mix Up reminder)

Hi there. Just here to remind you about this month's CAS Mix Up Challenge. It's a Stencil Challenge this month.

Nancy is our host this month and she has challenged us to try a fun technique - 'Tracing (outlining) Stencils'.

I used an old stencilled background which had been made by sponging acrylic paint over the stencil.  I placed the stencil over this and traced with a black fineliner.  I added the butterfly die cut, made with a Penny Black die and smooshed background. I decided to doodle around the edge of the butterfly to tie it in with the tag.

You can find more inspiration over on the CAS Mix Up Blog, along with some links to videos.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  2. Love the watery appeal to these "happy" vibrant colours. Tilting the panel adds to the design too.
