Hello there Crafty Friends! I have some exciting news today. I have been invited to join the incredibly talented Design Team at The Card Concept! Woohoo!!!
So here is my 1st card as part of the DT for Challenge #179 Change of Seasons...
I hope you can see how I was inspired! I loved the beautiful Butterfly, but I chose to use the colours from the 'out of focus' background. I tried to recreate that by using muted colours (Distress Oxide Inks) and a Faux Bokeh Technique. I sponged the inks on the card panels and then spritzed with water. On the front panel, I randomly sponged white Ink circles to give the look of Bokeh.
I think my card is CLEAN & LAYERED' and 'MIXED MEDIA'.
Just a reminder, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colours, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?
