Pastel Magnolia

I've had this  watercolour sitting in my 'unfinished' stash for a long time. It has a bit of a blooper- can you see it?

I think this is a stunning stamp set and it always reminds me of the beautiful Magnolia tree in our neighbour's front garden.  So I touched up the shading, fussy cut and added some strategic blingšŸ˜‰

I stamped the magnolia on good quality watercolour paper, white embossed  and coloured with Zig Markers.  I decided to use grey for the sentiment to match the branch and keep the card soft.

Stamps: The Ton 'Magnificent Magnolias'; Altenew 'Label Love'
Paper: Arches Rough Watercolour Paper  300gsm

  1. No I cannot see the blooper, but I suspect it is now under the bling :). Never a mistake, just a chance to embellish. Loving this beautiful image and how you have coloured it Jenny - a beautiful card.

  8. I can't see a 'blooper' at all and even if I could, I would be looking more at these beautiful flowers than anything else!! The colouring is amazing and wishing I had planted a magnolia when we moved into this house. I'm very lucky though, being a Gardener for a living I get to enjoy everyone elses!! The grey sentiment is the perfect match and keeping it CAS leaves those flowers to shine. So very happy to see you at The Flower Challenge!
