My Daughter asked me to make a Bear themed card for her Boyfriend's birthday.
I stamped the cityscape off the edge on both sides of the panel using Karin Markers and spritzer. Then I painted the road with watered down Karin Markers.
The Bear was coloured with Zig Markers.
To finish I stamped the sentiment and coloured the balloon with Karin Markers.
Can you tell I love my markers? They're so versatile!
Stamps: Penny Black Skyline; The Ton Stamps Honey Bears; W&W sentiment
I'm sharing my card at the following challenges:-

ReplyDeleteLove this card, Jenny! Your bear and balloon really pop against the cityscape background. And I have a question for you - you've used both Zigs and Karin markers... any special reason? I have Zigs, and keep telling myself I don't need another set. :D Thanks for joining us at Inkspirational and Seize the Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHi Linsdey. I mix it sometimes because of the colours. Also it depends on the paper and stamp. Karin Markers are very juicy, so they are great on watercolour paper. Not so good on detailed stamps, where it might smudge. I find my Zigs dry out or get used up quicker. I love them both:)
DeleteBoyfriend is sure to love it!! That bear is perfect for our "Any Animal-Actual or Animated" challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz!! Thanks for playing along with us!!
