Dancing Daisies and a New Technique

It's time for another Twofer. This time I've gone super bold in one card and monochromatic in the other. One is for a birthday and the other is a congrats card, which I guess covers various occasions.

I used a combination of Distress Inks and Zig Markers and continuous stamped with a touch of spritzing and some marker highlights direct to the paper. The Bees were coloured with Copic Markers.
Stamps:- Penny Black Dancing Daisies; WPlus9 C'est La Vie; SSS Sweet Cakes

I knew I wanted to use this stamp for some layered stamping, but wansn't quite sure what technique to use, so I googled and found this technique - Layered Batik Resist .
I LOVE the look of this techniqe!!! It's not so obvious in in the photo, but IRL, it looks fantastic, especially with the white flower in the foreground.  I used Distress Inks.
Stamps: Penny Black Dancing Daisies,: sentiment TBA (I've forgotten!)

I'm entering the following challenges:-

  1. That's a great stamp and it sure lends itself beautifully to the direct-to-stamp technique! I love the coloring and the addition of the sweet bees, Jenny! And your second occasion congrats card is so very striking! That batik technique and the coloring you've used add so much depth, it's incredible!! Thank you so much for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge #3!! Hugs, Darnell
