Jump for Joy

I had fun with some cute stamps this afternoon.

I've used a textured cream coloured card-stock, which I think goes well with the browns and orange.
The images were coloured with Karin Markers.
Stamps: Hello Bluebird Oh Nuts

Watercolour Play & Masculine Belated Birthday

Hi there! Just sharing a few more makes that I haven't got around to posting.

So this one was just for fun, because I was playing with Daniel Smith Watercolours.
I then stamped the wildflowers and foliage, but I had to go over it with black marker, because the watercolour paper was so rough. I then added highlights with white gel pen.
Stamps: Stampers Annonymous

I used Distress Ink to stamp the balloon. I blendded the inks with water on the cling stamp and a bit more on the paper.
Stamps: Hampton Art Hot Air Balloon; CASual Friday Some Bunny
Die: Penny Black

Pumpkin Spice

Hey there. Today I'm sharing a card inspired by the theme at Global Design Project. In Australia we don't celebrate Halloween so much or Harvest time, so I only have one pumpkin stamp. I decided to draw my own pumpkin for this card.

I used Altenew Inks to stamp the cup, flower and foliage added a few highlights with Copic Sepia pen.
The pumpkin was sketched and coloured with Prismacolor Pencils.

Stamps: The Greetery Cozy Cup, Wplus 9 Autumn Leaves
Die: Penny Black Rectangle Frame

CAS COLOURS & SKETCHES #443 SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for another challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches and we have Vicky as our host this month. She has given us another fun sketch to play with this week.

I stamped the leaves using the second generation method with Antique Linen spritzed with water. When dry, I stamped again, repositioning the stamp and this time using Zig Markers and Distress Oxide Inks.
I inked the edges and splattered with gold ink. The sentiment was originally stamped in gold, but then I went over it in red to get more depth.

Stamps: Penny Black Nature's Gifts; SU sentiment
Die Spellbinders frame

I hope you'll pop on over to our blog to see the wonderful creations from our Design Team and be inspired to join us in the challenge.

More Fall Cards

I have a folder on my Desktop that's full of cards I've made, but haven't yet posted, so today I decided to share a few.

I used Karin Markers direct to stamp, blended with wet brush, to stamp these trees. Added a bit of definition, a wash under the trees and of course a touch of splatter:)
Stamps: Stamplorations Vignette: Tree Silhouette

I used Karin Markers again to stamp these leaves. I couldn't resist adding some splatter!
Stamps: Gina K Autum Silhouettes

The grid pattern was stamped with Delicata Gold ink and I used Karin Markers for the leaves, sentiment and splatter.
Stamps: Kaisercraft Fallen Leaves; SSS Floral Garden

Bear in the City

My Daughter asked me to make a Bear themed card for her Boyfriend's birthday.

I stamped the cityscape off the edge on both sides of the panel using Karin Markers and spritzer.  Then I painted the road with watered down Karin Markers.
The Bear was coloured with Zig Markers.
To finish I stamped the sentiment and coloured the balloon with Karin Markers.
Can you tell I love my markers? They're so versatile!

Stamps: Penny Black Skyline; The Ton Stamps Honey Bears; W&W sentiment
