Bokeh Birthday

I just watched a fabulous video by Dawn from WPLUS9 on how to make a bokeh effect., so I thought I'd have a try.

This time I've used a sentiment from Mama Elephant, so I'll enter it in the current challenge which is to make a  watercolour card with a birthday theme.

I followed Dawn's technique, but instead of using white ink for all the bokeh, I used distress stain for the big dots. I used watercolour paints for the background. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant Make a Wish.

I think I need more practise at sequin placement - I was trying to be random, but it ended up too much in a line!!!
