Case Study Celebrations and Runway Inspired

Hey there - it's Monday afternoon and I've been busy in the craft room. The first card I have to share is for the Case Study 4th Anniversary week #1 and for the Runway Inspired Challenge. The challenge at Case Study is to case one of the cards on the blog hop and I chose Claire Buswell's stunning card.

The yellow card has been embossed, although I chose the debossed side and then swiped white ink over the raised area. The flower is from Altenew Magnolia's for Her set. The large bloom was stamped on vellum with white ink, heat embossed and coloured on the reverse side with PanPastel and copic marker. I backed the vellum with white card. The small bloom was stamped on shrink plastic with Cloudy Grey StazeOn,  coloured with Faber Castell pencils and white gel pen.  Then I cut out it out and shrunk it with a heat gun. The intensity of the colour increases when it is heated. I covered the shrinky with glossy accents.
The sentiment is a Winnie & Walter cut file. I decided to use the burlap for the bunting, because I loved the shabby chic look of the flower on Claire's card.
