More Homework and Casing Jennifer Mcguire

Just a quick post, because housework beckons! I decided to make another card, whilst I was in the mood, given my lack of mojo over the last week!
So this card is homework for the Stretch your Stamps 2 class and was also inspired by Jennifer Mcguire's beautiful watercolour card in the Case Study 4th Anniversary blog hop.

I stamped and white embossed the image on thick vellum and then used inktense watercolour pencils and copics to colour on the reverse side. Then I fussy cut and glued the image on the card base. I was really surprised and happy the glue didn't show! The sentiment is stamped directly on the card - had to convince my self to use blue instead of black! I used an embossing folder to make a border at the bottom, added some twine and sequins and I was nearly done. The final touch was to add Wink of Stella to the flowers for some extra shine!
