Hi there! Last month I was a Guest Designer for Uniquely Creative using their Mini kit 'Gorgeous Girl'.
Here is another card using the kit, but this time I used only part of the stamp to make floral borders.
To begin I made a smooshed background with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina. Next I stencilled in 2 corners with the same ink. The flowers were stamped with the same ink again and embossed with Silver Pearl Embossing Powder.
The butterflies are also from UQ and were stamped on Vellum and embossed.
Uniquely Creative Products Used:
UC1849 Gorgeous Girl Stamp, UCD2007 Gorgeous Girl Die, Butterflies Stamp Set, Butterflies Fussy Cutting Die Set, Diamond Fade Stencil
Other Products Used:
Distress Oxide Ink (Salvaged Patina), Ranger Silver Pearl & Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder, Spellbinders Venise Lace Hemstitch Frame, White & Buffalo Kraft Cardstock, Vellum Paper, Pearls
This is just so pretty, I love the smooshed background with the stenciling, and it's perfect with the gold. Thank you for joining us at Festive Friday!

This card is gorgeous, the minimal palette is so lovely and the stamping and stencilling add so much dimension to your design!
ReplyDeleteYour background is gorgeous and is the perfect backdrop for your butterflies. I love the embossed vellum, too. It adds a lovely touch of softness without distracting from the background. So glad you joined us at Festive Friday this week
