Winnie & Walter August Blog Hop

Welcome to the Winnie & Walter August release Blog Hop!
You should have arrived here from the Winnie & Walter Blog.
I'm so excited to be part of this hop because the stamps are so much fun - the possibilities are endless.

This card is made using This Awesome House. This set would be great for creating a scene, is perfect for paper piecing and would also be very useful for those who enjoy scrapbooking. I chose to leave the house as an outline with a bit of shading, so I could combine it with some bright and festive papers. The light and window in roof are added extras, so you can really decorate the house to suit your project.

I really love the graphic leaves in this set - A Tree for All Seasons. I repeatedly stamped the leaf, using Memento Luxe inks, to make my own patterned paper.

To make this card, I used Silhouette to cut the background stencil from A Tree for All Seasons cut file and then went to town sponging distress inks. I then cut 2 leaves and stamped the sentiment from the the same set.

I had an absolute ball playing with the Moonlight set. Although Halloween isn't celebrated as widely in Australia as North America,  we do still get trick or treaters in our street and my daughter loves decorating her room each season or holiday,  so I will be putting this set to great use. I think I may cover the front door with spiders!

Now for some exciting news!!! I am so happy to be able to  give away a stamp set of the winner’s choice from  the August release. The winner will be picked randomly from those who comment on this post between August 29, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. CST until August 31, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. CST. But wait, that's not all - the W&W blog we will be giving away the entire August Release!
August Release stamps will be available for purchase when the blog hop goes live. The
coordinating digital elements will be free with purchase for 2 weeks.

Now hop along and check out all the amazing creations from the Talent, Lyndal and Heather  the Leading Ladies. Your next stop is the amazingly, talented Heather of House Built of Cards.
If you get lost along the way, here is the list of participants:-
