Peaceful Cabin

I'd quite like to be somewhere like this at Christmas!

I used Pink Fresh Inks, Zigs and Karin Markers to stamp this scene. I added some definition with Copic Sepia pen. The sentiment was stamped with Delicata Gold Ink. I then dry embossed the top part of the panel.

CAS COLOURS & SKETCHES #447 SKETCH

Hi there!  It's time for another CAS Colours & Sketches challenge!

Our host Joanne has given us a fabulous sketch, in fact this has been my favourite layout throughout this year, so I am very happy!

I decided to keep my card extra CAS, by using a die to emboss a background. Then I added the gorgeous Crocus die-cuts, coloured with Zig markers.
Stamp: SSS Friendly Flowers
Dies: MFT Piestra; Alexandra Renke Crocus

Simplicity

Hello there!
When I saw the quote at Time Out Challenge, I new I had the perfect sentiment stamp. I decided to pair it with a gorgeous floral stamp and thought gold, black and white would be elegant.

Yes this card was so simple to make! I stamped the image and sentiment with Delicata Gold ink.
I die-cut the flower with the co-ordinating die and then die-cut the border., mounting it on a white card base.
Stamps: Stampin Up Nature's Harvest; Stampers Anonymous Perspective
Dies:  Stampin Up Nature's Harvest; Spellbinders Venise Lace Hemstitch Die

Hi there. Just sharing a card inspired by the sketch at this week's Global Design project.

I choose to make my Robin pink instead of red to match these gorgeous Aussie themed papers.
I found some really cute pics of Pink Robins on the internet.
I coloured the bird with Daniel Smith Watercolours and fussy-cut. I added a touch of purple to the image too.
Stamps: Stampin Up Etched in Nature, Creative Expressions sentiment.

52 CHRISTMAS CARD THROWDOWN (NOV THEME )

Hi there Crafty Friends. It's time for the 3rd challenge of the November at 52CCT with Gill  as our host.  She wants us to include 'FAIRY LIGHTS' on our Christmas cards.   I knew right away which stamp set to use:)

The string was is from a Memory Box die-set with bells, which I trimmed off. Then I mounted the dog with dimensional tape over the sentiment. I added Glossy Accents to the dogs nose and Wink of Stella to the lights.

Memory Box Framed Christmas Scene

I had fun creating this scene. I used Distress Oxides and Zigs to colour the die-cuts. I decided to emboss the frame instead of die-cutting and I swiped white ink over it.

Watercolour Poinsettias

Hi there! It's time to ramp up the Christmas card production. Here are a couple of Floral cards.

I made a couple of die-cuts, coloured with Zig Markers and blended with Nuvo Glitter Gloss pen.
I trimmed the second die-cut and layered the Poinsettia.  I then added a smaller die-cut and added Gold Rhinestones inn the centre.  Then I added the sentiment, which was stamped with Versamark and brushed with Gold Pearl-Ex. I shaped the petals with an embossing tool.

I made a smooshed panel with Distress Oxide and Brushos.  The sentiment is a very old wood-mount.

Supplies:
1st card
Paper Rose Studio Poinsettia and Holly Corner; Tim H0oltz (smaller Poinsettia)

2nd Card
Paper Rose Studio Border Poinsettia Die

CAS MIX UP NOV Reminder

Hello there! I'm just popping in to remind you about this month's  CAS Mix Up Challenge!

This month is a Stencil themed challenge. Loll is our host and the prompt is 'Stencil Monoprint'.

There are some links to video tutorials on the CAS MIX UP blog and an explanation from Loll as to what she would like to see.

Please remember to keep your card designs Clean and Simple.

I used a hexagon stencil and when the monoprint was dry, I used the stencil again in the traditional way, sponging another shade of yellow. It was then trimmed the panel and layered with die-cuts and the stamped bee.

Stencil: TCW Hexagons

Stamps: Gina K Beautiful Bees
Dies: Stampin Up Meadow Stems

You can find more inspiration over on the CAS Mix Up Blog from our  Designer Team.  We hope you'll be inspired to join the challenge.
